All members of the Institution shall conduct themselves in accordance with the code of professional Ethics and Practice that has been passed and approved by the General Meeting of the Institution.

DISCIPLINE OF MEMBERS

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers has an effective self-regulating and disciplinary system which has been tested and up-dated over time.

Upon the receipt of a report or petition of an act of indiscipline or professional misconduct against a member, the National Council of the Institution refers the matter to its disciplinary organ the Professional Practice Committee (PPC) to inquire into the allegation in all its ramifications; and where such a member if found liable, recommend appropriate sanctions in line with Constitution of The Institution.
